Something Borrowed  is the story of a young lawyer named  Rachel White who lives in New York. On the thirtieth anniversary of her date of birth, her best friend Darcy Rhone throws her a lively party. The evening is delightful and the feelings of glee are shared with Darcy fiancé Dexter who is in attendance at this gathering.  However, after too many drinks, Rachel ends up in bed with Darcy’s soon-to-be!

About the Author:

 Emily Giffin attended high school in Naperville, Illinois, where she was a member of a creative writing club and served as editor-in-chief for the school’s newspaper. Giffin earned her undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University. She then attended law school at the University of Virginia.
